I got my first dog in 1996 and by 2000 I had a bona fide 'pack' consisting of three dogs and a cat! I knew there would be some distant day when my beloved pets would no longer be with me but I tried not to dwell on that because it only made me feel sad.

After many happy years together I lost a first dog, Tulip, in 2008 and just recently I had to say goodbye to a second one, Wendy.

It was important to me to give my dogs a dignified disposition and the folks at Companion’s Always really understood that. Although the staff may not have known my pets, they are all big animal lovers and they truly understood my grief. They are compassionate, empathetic people who will treat your pet and you with the utmost respect.

As pack leader, my last act of love and decency for each of my pets will be taking them to Companion’s Always.

While on vacation we were notified by our neighbors that our dog was unable to get up any longer. He was a wonderful family pet - one we have had loved for over 16 years. From a recommendation we had earlier, we called Companions Always for their help. Not only did they pick him up, take him to the vet to be euthanized, they stayed with him while this procedure was completed. The staff at CA then took him to their facility and held him until we returned and were able to say our goodbyes. I don't know what we would have done without the assistance of Companions Always. They provide a much needed service in our area - they truly understand the love a family has for their pets. Thank you so much!
